Terms of Sale
Last updated: July 2026
1. What you're buying
The Self Assembled UK Business Launch Pack: a downloadable bundle containing the step-by-step guide (PDF), a budget planner spreadsheet, a privacy policy template, and a DNS cheat sheet. Delivery is by download link immediately after payment, with a receipt emailed by our payment processor, Stripe. Updates to this edition of the pack are included — re-download whenever you like via your receipt.
2. Your licence
Your purchase grants a personal, non-transferable licence to use the pack for setting up your own business (or a single business you're directly involved in launching). You may not resell, redistribute, share, or republish the pack or substantial parts of it. The templates (privacy policy, budget planner) may of course be adapted and published as part of your own business — that's what they're for.
3. Cancellation and refunds
- Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, digital content supplied immediately is exempt from the 14-day cancellation right where you have consented to immediate supply and acknowledged losing that right — which you do at checkout before payment.
- That's the legal position; here's ours: if the pack is faulty, not as described, or you genuinely can't access it, email hello@selfassembled.co.uk within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund you. Your statutory rights regarding digital content that is faulty or not as described (Consumer Rights Act 2015) are unaffected by anything on this page.
4. What the pack is (and isn't)
- The pack is educational and practical guidance. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and no adviser–client relationship is created by buying it. For decisions specific to your circumstances — company structure, tax, insurance — consult a qualified professional.
- Prices, government fees, and third-party interfaces change. The pack flags every figure as check-before-you-buy; we refresh the current edition periodically but can't guarantee every screenshot matches today's screens.
- Third-party services covered in the pack (Stripe, Cloudflare, Google and others) are their own businesses with their own terms; we're not responsible for their availability, pricing, or decisions, and no endorsement by them is implied.
5. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability in connection with the pack is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or business interruption arising from use of the pack.

7. General
